02.7 Inspection & IAQ assessment
HVAC inspection & indoor air quality assessment
Who needs this
- Occupant complaints: stuffiness, odours, allergy patterns
- Pre-audit due diligence before an EHS or client inspection
- Vendor claims you want independently verified
- Sick-building symptom reports reaching HR
- Baseline needed before committing to a cleaning budget
Standards note. Inspections follow NADCA ACR assessment guidance. The report is yours regardless of whether any cleaning is commissioned — that is the point of inspection-first.
How we do it
- 1
Walkthrough & interviews
System layout reviewed with your facility team; complaint locations mapped against the duct zones serving them.
- 2
Camera inspection
Robot or borescope camera survey of representative duct runs and AHU internals — the interior condition on record, not guessed.
- 3
IAQ readings
Spot readings (particulates, CO₂, temperature, humidity) at complaint and control locations for comparison.
- 4
Findings report
Photo log, readings and a plain-language findings summary. If cleaning is not needed, the report says so.
- 5
Scoped recommendation
Where work is needed: an itemised scope with zones and priorities — a document procurement can float, compare and audit.
Proof, not promises
Every inspection & iaq assessment project closes with matched before/after photos and a written report. See the documented process and the evidence page for what that file looks like — or check the credentials behind it. Case-specific documentation is shared during scoping.
Inspection & IAQ assessment — common questions
Is the site inspection really free?
Yes, for commercial facilities in Delhi NCR the initial site inspection is free. Full camera surveys and instrument IAQ assessments of large systems are quoted after the initial visit establishes scope.
What do IAQ readings measure?
Typical spot assessment covers particulate levels (PM2.5/PM10), CO₂, temperature and relative humidity — compared between complaint areas and control areas to isolate whether the HVAC system is the cause.
What if the inspection finds nothing wrong?
Then the report says exactly that, and you have dated evidence of a clean system for your audit file. We scope work from findings, not from the visit itself.
